Hotel La Casona – Iquitos
La Casona Hotel opened first opened it’s doors in 2006 and is run by a very friendly Peruvian couple. It is situated in a beautiful old colonial building from the early twentieth century , built in 1901 during the infamous Rubber Era ( 1890-1915 ) and only is 50 meters from the Plaza de Armas, the heart of downtown Iquitos.
The Hotel La Casona features spacious, airy rooms, is safe, quiet and clean and has very reasonable rates. The staff are
very attentive, pleasant and reliable and are always willing to help. There are several lovely areas with lots of plants and local artwork to relax on comfy sofas and there is also a fast free wifi connection.
